The Singapore Zoo is one of the Tourist Spot that I would like to visit in Singapore. The attraction is well-organized that makes me feel close to forest and wild animals. I was amazed because animals just roam freely.
I always loved to see new things and exotic animals. What I like about Singapore Zoo is the ability for me to learn and have an idea about the nature of such animal as the presentation has educational concept. There’s also an animal show and feeding time. I learn to appreciate their habitat.
If this would be your first time in Singapore Zoo, it is best to come early and ask the feeding schedule for different animals so that you would enjoy the stay. The Zoo opens from 8:30 am to 6:00pm.
Upon getting your ticket, you will be given a map as your guide. You have the option to ride a tram or walk. There’s a certain dock point inside the Zoo. If you bring your kids with you, I suggest you carry a stroller if you have or rent a stroller or trolley inside the Zoo. I’m sure your kids will like it. Don’t worry if you feel hungry, there are restaurants and a kiosk inside the zoo.
The grouping of animals is categorized by different zones. Frozen Tundra, Primate Kingdom, Wild Africa, Reptile Garden, Australian Outback, Critters Long House, Fragile Forest, Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia, Treetops Trail, Gibbon Island, and the likes… Example, polar bear, wolverine and racoon dog were placed in Frozen Tundra; lions, cheetah, puma were placed in the Wild Africa ; Monkeys, Baboons and Oranguta were place in Primate Kingdom and so on… You can see the map below to follow:
