Archives of Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan

This year’s Kadayawan event theme is “Kalamboan sa Kinaiyahan: Kadayawan sa Katawhan”. Part of the celebration is the annual street dance  Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan. The event has 17 contingents coming from different schools and community sectors in Davao City. All the participants show their best performances representing the city’s abundant heritage, bountiful harvest and diverse culture representing different tribes of Dabawenyo’s history.

Indak-indak is a competitions of choreographed and and theatrical dance narratives inspired by Mindanao indigenous tradition, epic stories, myths, legends and important cultural events of representation of festival celebrations of the islands performed in the major streets of Davao City.
