Another getaway to bond with your family is to travel with them!
So, we started our flight from Davao International Airport to NAIA Airport, Philippines bound to Hongkong. We are quite excited since this is our first time to visit Hongkong.
Since we have relatives living in Hongkong, we ask for an advise on what to expect and what to do upon arrival, and we follow as per advised…
Upon arrival, we make sure to see the monitors for us to line-up in the correct unloading carrier of our luggage.
For more convenient and efficient transportation, we bought Octopus Card. This is a top up – re loadable card used to pay fares so that you don’t need to always prepare coins when you’re going to ride a bus, trump or a train. If you are carrying a child, their Octopus card is also intended for a Child fare. You can refund the amount of the Octopus card before leaving Hongkong.
We don’t need to book hotel since we are staying with relatives in Hongkong.
Our routine is to stroll around and visit known tourist spots like Ocean Park, Disneyland Hongkong and The Peak.
Of course, who don’t want to save for a cheaper ticket for this travel. We were advised that cheaper legal ticket for Disneyland and Ocean Park can be bought at World Wide House Central. So we went there and yes we save a lot both at Disneyland and Ocean Park ticket. We also saved from our Ocean Park ticket compared to the regular ticket price sold at the site.(Please NOTE that promotional ticket price might change according to its promotional period)
You save a lot if you go with family.
VISIT TO DISNEYLAND HONGKONG
Upon arriving to the area, you must secure a map to easily locate events/themes in the area and to determine your current location.
You don’t need to worry about food and drinks inside Disneyland because there are restaurant and kiosk inside who sell food and beverages. But it is advisable to bring extra water and biscuits or cookies especially if you’re carrying a child. Food prices inside is a bit pricey compared to convenience store outside. Actually, we also bring our child’s stroller and I am glad that we made it, for it is more convenient in our part and comfortable for my kid in a whole day walking event.
We’ve been to different Disney theme part of the area, including the ADVENTURE LAND (Lion King Show, Frozen Village, Tarzan’s Tree House, Jungle River Cruise), GRIZZLY (We had our lunch in one of the food stalls here), TOY STORY LAND, MAIN STREET USA, FANTASY LAND (I like the Winnie the Pooh Show) and TOMORROWLAND ( We had dinner and one of the food stalls here)

We waited until evening for the Parade of the Stars and Fireworks…

Sullivan), CARS (Lighting McQueen), TOY STORY (Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Slinky Dog), PLAYHOUSE (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck), BEAUTY & THE BEAST (Belle), THE LITTLE MERMAID (Princess Ariel)
It was amazingly beautiful!!!
